As we emerge from our human hibernation it's a good time to give the bedroom a little refresh.
Interior design firm Kelling Designs is showing the love with an online emporium dedicated to its favourite designers and fabric houses each season. The debut range features furniture and accessories clad in threads by Bernard Thorp. A standout piece? The scalloped Isabella headboard finished with velvet piping.
With its sleek silhouette and generously filled goose-down cushions, it was an instant love-in when the design crowd first set eyes on Antonio Citterio’s Adda sofa for Flexform back in 2017. Moving things into the bedroom, the Italian designer has added an equally seductive bed to the collection, featuring the same metal base, cast-metal feet (available in satin, chrome and champagne finishes) and the option to upholster in fabric or leather as its living room counterpart. And with its 50/50 headboard (also goose-down and complete with piping detail), there should be no more quarrels over whose side of the bed you’re on.
